LOS ANGELES (AP) - Blake Griffin threw down three dunks in a 1:40 span late in the fourth quarter and had 27 points and 14 rebounds as the Los Angeles Clippers beat the Phoenix Suns 103-86. Chris Paul had 15 points and 15 assists to help the Clippers move two games behind the Lakers in the Pacific Division. They have won five straight at home.

BOSTON (AP) - Red Sox reliever Chris Carpenter, who was obtained from the Chicago Cubs as partial compensation for general manager Theo Epstein, says he will have elbow surgery. Carpenter says on Twitter that Dr. James Andrews will remove a bone spur from his elbow.
ORANGE, Calif. (AP) - Flamboyant former NBA star Dennis Rodman has been told he could face up to 20 days in jail unless he pays some $860,000 in child support, although his lawyer said he's made payments. Rodman appeared in an Orange County court Tuesday for sentencing but it was postponed to May 29.
