Dickey allowed only an infield single in the first inning of his second career one-hitter and broke the New York Mets' record for consecutive scoreless innings in a 9-1 victory over the Tampa Bay Rays last night. Dickey, who improved to 10-1, broke Jerry Koosman's club record by going 32 and two-thirds scoreless innings before allowing a run in the bottom of the ninth.

BELLEFONTE, Pa. (AP) - Testimony continues today in the child sex abuse trial of former Penn State assistant football coach Jerry Sandusky. Three more accusers took the stand yesterday, bringing to five the number who have testified against the 68-year-old Sandusky, who is charged with sexually abusing 10 boys over a 15-year period.
