SAN FRANCISCO (AP) - The L.A. Dodgers have moved into a virtual tie with San Francisco atop the NL West after finishing a three-game sweep 4-0 on a Clayton Kershaw five-hitter. Luis Cruz drove in two runs, and Matt Kemp, Andre Ethier (EETH'-ee-ur), James Loney and Mark Ellis had two hits apiece for the surging Dodgers, who outscored the Giants 19-3 over the series.

     PHOENIX (AP) - R.A. Dickey rebounded from his first loss in three months to earn his National League-leading 14th win as the New York Mets beat the Arizona Diamondbacks 5-1 for just their third victory in 17 games. Dickey ) allowed an unearned run and four hits in seven innings, striking out eight, to improve toe 14-2, matching Tampa Bay's David Price for the major league lead in victories.

     ANAHEIM, Calif. (AP) - Zack Greinke (GREHN'-kee) was outpitched by Jeremy Hellickson in his Los Angeles Angels' debut, losing to the Tampa Bay Rays 2-0. Obtained Friday from Milwaukee, the 2009 AL Cy Young Award winner allowed two runs and seven hits in seven innings and struck out eight.
