DETROIT (AP) - Johnny Damon's two-run homer in the bottom of theeleventh gave Detroit a 7-5 win over Baltimore and capped off amemorable night for the outfielder. Earlier in the game, Damonrecorded his 2,500th career hit.

ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) - A spectator fell 30 feet from the seconddeck at Rangers Ballpark while trying to catch a foul ball in theRangers-Yankees game Tuesday night. A Rangers spokesman says theman was able to move all his extremities and was responsive toparamedics who strapped him onto a stretcher and took him to ahospital.
