UNDATED (AP) - The Oklahoma City Thunder ended Game 2 of their Western Conference semifinal against the visiting Lakers on a 9-0 run and beat Los Angeles 77-75 to grab a 2-0 lead in the best-of-seven matchup. Earlier in the evening, the Boston Celtics hammered the 76ers 107-91 in Philadelphia to take a 2-1 lead in their Eastern Conference semifinal.



NEW YORK (AP) - Larry Bird has hit the trifecta. The Pacers president is adding NBA Executive of the Year to a resume that already includes three MVP awards as a player and a trip to the NBA Finals as a coach. He's the only one with all three.



NEW YORK (AP) - The New Jersey Devils evened the NHL Eastern Conference final at a game apiece with a 3-2 road win over the New York Rangers. Dave Clarkson's tip-in goal early in the third period snapped a 2-all tie.



TORONTO (AP) -Brett Lawrie went 0-for-4 and scored a run in Toronto's 8-1 beating of the New York Yankees. The Blue Jays third baseman was playing after appealing a four-game suspension leveled by Major League Baseball for his helmet-throwing incident with an umpire during Tuesday night's outing.



BALTIMORE (AP) - I'll Have Another may have won the Kentucky Derby, but Derby runner-up Bodemeister (BOH'-bee-my-stur) is the pre-race favorite for Saturday's Preakness Stakes at Pimlico. Bodemeister has been installed as an 8-5 favorite for the second jewel of the Triple Crown while I'll Have Another is listed at 5-2.
