KWBG Sports for June 3rd

MIAMI (AP) - The Dallas Mavericks went on a 22-5 run in the
final 6:20 to stun the Miami Heat, 95-93, and even the NBA Finals
at one game apiece. Dirk Nowitzki (noh-VIHT'-skee) finished with 24
points, including the winning left-handed layup with 3.6 seconds
left for Dallas, which has the next three games at home starting
Sunday night.

UNDATED (AP) - Aubrey Huff's first three-homer night helped San
Francisco beat St. Louis 12-7, and helped the World Series champion
Giants regain a half-game lead in the National League West. The
Giants took over the top spot when Arizona dropped a 6-1 decision
to the last-place Washington Nationals.

VANCOUVER, British Columbia (AP) - The Vancouver Canucks will
have the services of forward Alex Burrows for Saturday night's Game
2 of the Stanley Cup finals. Burrows avoided a suspension after NHL
officials decided they couldn't prove he bit the finger of Boston's
Patrice Bergeron (pah-TREES' BEHR'-zhehr-ahn) in the Canucks' 1-0
win in the opener of the series.

DUBLIN, Ohio (AP) - Rory McIlroy and Chris Riley start
second-round play at the Memorial outside Columbus, Ohio, tied for
the lead at six under par. This is the last tournament for McIlroy
before the U.S. Open, and a chance for the 22-year-old from
Northern Ireland to atone for his final-round 80 that cost him a
chance to win the Masters.

PARIS (AP) - The men's semifinals at the French Open are set
today with top-seed Rafael Nadal playing Andy Murray in the opening
match. The second semifinal matches second-seed Novak Djokovic
(YOH'-koh-vihch) against Roger Federer, the No. 3 seed.
