KWBG Sports for December 15th

NEW ORLEANS (AP) - Chris Paul is headed to Los Angeles for real
this time - to the Clippers, not the Lakers. The New Orleans
Hornets have traded Chris Paul to the Los Angeles Clippers for
guard Eric Gordon, forward Al-Farouq Aminu (al-fuh-ROOK'
ah-MEE'-noo), center Chris Kaman and a first-round draft choice.

CLEVELAND (AP) - The Cavaliers have waived veteran point guard
Baron Davis, using the NBA's new "amnesty clause" to clear space
under the salary cap. Davis, acquired in a trade last season from
the Los Angeles Clippers, is now a free agent and will be paid $28
million owed over the next two seasons.

DEERFIELD, Ill. (AP) - Veteran guard Richard Hamilton has signed
with the Chicago Bulls, joining MVP Derrick Rose in what figures to
be a deep backcourt. Terms were not released, but a person familiar
with the situation said earlier in the day it's a three-year, $15
million deal.

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) - The second-ranked Ohio State Buckeyes
welcomed back star forward Jared Sullinger, who scored 12 points
and grabbed 10 rebounds in an 82-58 win over South Carolina Upstate
last night. Sullinger had missed two games because of injury but
returned to help the Buckeyes win their 31st straight home game.

ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) --The Minnesota Wild, who entered the week
on a seven-game winning streak, now have lost two in a row.
Jonathan Toews (tayz) and Patrick Kane scored the lone shootout
goals in the Chicago Blackhawks' 4-3 victory over the Northwest
Division-leading Wild.
