State Wrestling Tournament -
Kyler Kiner (FR) of Ogden advances in the Championship Bracket with an 8-0 win over Dylan Gibson (FR), Martensdale-St. Marys. Kiner will face Jordan Bremer (JR), Woodbury Central Moville in the Friday afternoon session which starts at 1pm. Ogden's 135-pounder, Jared Hefler, lost to Drew Proctor (SR), Tipton by a score 3-5, but came back through wrestle backs to defeat Trent Lundgren (JR), Graettinger-Terril with a major decision 15-6. Hefler also advances to Friday's session in the consolation bracket. Each wrestler is now assured of making it to the winner's stand on Saturday night, it's just a matter of which number they stand on.
