franchise postseason record with five RBIs, fellow Arizona rookie
Josh Collmenter held Milwaukee to two hits over seven innings as
the Diamondbacks stayed alive in the NL division series with a 8-1
rout of the Brewers last night. Milwaukee leads the best-of-five
2-1. Game 4 is tonight in Phoenix.
ST. LOUIS (AP) - The Philadelphia Phillies send out Roy Oswalt
(OHZ'-wahlt) today in their attempt to put away the St. Louis
Cardinals in four games and advance to the NL Championship Series.

DETROIT (AP) - The New York Yankees are going home to decide
their AL Division Series knotted up at 2-2 following their 10-1
rout of Detroit last night. Curtis Granderson made two superb plays
in center field and A.J. Burnett hurled 5-2/3 respectable innings
to send the series back to Yankee Stadium for a decisive Game 5
Thursday night.

Championship Series for the second straight year following their
4-3 win over Tampa Bay that eliminated the Rays in four games.

NEW YORK (AP) - The NBA has canceled the remainder of the
preseason and will wipe out the first two weeks of the regular
season if there is no labor agreement by Monday. The move came
after four hours of fruitless negotiations yesterday and no further
talks are scheduled.
