KWBG Sports for September 20th

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - Manning Matchup II was no contest. Four-time
league MVP Peyton Manning threw for three touchdowns, leading the
Indianapolis Colts to a surprisingly easy 38-14 victory over kid
brother Eli Manning and the New York Giants. Both teams are 1-1.

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) - New England wide receiver Randy
Moss became the fourth player in NFL history to reach 150 career
touchdowns with a jaw-dropping, one-handed 34-yard catch in the
Patriots' 28-14 loss to the New York Jets. Moss has 149 receiving
touchdowns and another on a punt return. Hall of Famer Jerry Rice
tops the list with 208 TDs.

CHICAGO (AP) - Detroit's Jim Leyland became the 18th manager to
work 3,000 major league games when the Tigers wrapped up their
weekend series against Chicago with a 9-7, 11-inning victory over
the White Sox. Eleven of the first 17 managers to reach the mark
are in the Hall of Fame, and the other three who are still active -
Tony La Russa, Bobby Cox and Joe Torre - likely will get there.

UNDATED (AP) - The two top teams in both the AL and NL East open
head-to-head matchups tonight. The New York Yankees begin their
four-game set against visiting Tampa Bay holding a half-game lead
over the Rays, while Philadelphia hosts an Atlanta Braves club that
starts the three-game series three games back of the Phillies.

LOUDON, N.H. (AP) - Clint Bowyer (BOY'-ur) ended an 88-race
winless drought by taking the checkered flag at New Hampshire Motor
Speedway in the first of 10 events that comprise NASCAR's Chase for
the championship. Bowyer leapfrogs from last to second in the title
hunt, 35 points behind second-place finisher Denny Hamlin.
