Summitt went public yesterday with the news that she has been
diagnosed with early onset dementia. The 59-year old says she will
coach the Lady Vols this season but admits she may have some
"limitations."
RICHMOND, Va. (AP) - Latrett Scott has stepped down as football
coach at the University of Richmond. The move comes after he was
arrested for driving while intoxicated. With less than two weeks
until the start of the season, offensive coordinator Wayne Lineburg
has taken over as interim head coach for the season.
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - In an attempt to work things out,
Tennessee running back Chris Johnson is meeting with the Titans'
general manager today. The three-time pro bowler has refused to
report to training camp because he wants a new contract.
