LANDOVER, Md. (AP) - The Philadelphia Eagles racked up 45 points
in their highest-scoring first half in their history and coasted to
a 59-28 rout of Washington last night. Michael Vick accounted for
six touchdowns - four throwing, two running - as the 6-3 Eagles
tied the New York Giants for the NFC East lead heading into next
Sunday's showdown at Philadelphia when the Eagles host the Giants.

DALLAS (AP) - The last undefeated team in the NBA has lost.
Jason Terry scored 26 points, including the go-ahead jumper in the
final minute, and the Dallas Mavericks handed the New Orleans
Hornets their first loss of the season after eight straight wins,
98-95.

ALAMEDA, Calif. (AP) - An NFL arbitrator has denied a grievance
filed by former Oakland Raiders coach Lane Kiffin in an attempt to

Raiders executive John Herrera said Kiffin, now the coach at
Southern California, showed "a stunning lack of concern" for the
terms of his contract and for the rules of the club.

NEW YORK (AP) - The 2010 Major League Baseball awards season is
in full swing and Buster Posey, the catcher of the World Series
champion San Francisco Giants, captured the NL Rookie of the Year.
Texas closer Neftali Feliz is the AL Rookie of the Year.

NEW YORK (AP) - The New York Yankees are raising the prices of
some of their most expensive tickets for next year after making big
cuts in 2010, and are hiking the cost of bleacher seats for only
the third time in 13 years. The price of the best field-level seats
will rise to $260 as part of season ticket plans while most
bleacher seats will rise from $12 to $15.
