KWBG Sports for November 4th

NASHVILLE (AP) - The Tennessee Titans have claimed veteran wide
receiver Randy Moss off waivers, 12 years after they passed on him
in the 1998 NFL draft to take Kevin Dyson. Moss was waived by
Minnesota earlier this week, 3 1/2 weeks after being traded to the
Vikings from New England. He may be able to help the Titans as
receiver Kenny Britt hurt his right hamstring last weekend.

UNDATED (AP) - Pro Bowl wide receiver DeSean Jackson has passed
post-concussion testing and could play for the Philadelphia Eagles
when they return from their bye week to face Indianapolis on
Sunday. Jackson hasn't played since he was injured in a nasty
head-on collision with Atlanta cornerback Dunta Robinson on Oct.
17. Robinson returned to Falcons practice yesterday for the first
time since suffering a concussion on the Jackson hit.

BOSTON (AP) - Adrian Beltre (BEHL'-tray) has declined a $10
million player option that would have kept him with the Red Sox
next year, opting instead to take a $1 million buyout. If the Bosox
decline to pick up their $12.5 million option on the 31-year-old
Beltre by Thursday, he'll become a free agent. Beltran led Boston
with a .321 average, tied for the club lead with 102 RBIs, hit a
career-high 49 doubles and homered 28 times.

CINCINNATI (AP) - The Cincinnati Reds have exercised 2001
options for pitcher Bronson Arroyo and left fielder Jonny Gomes
(gohmz). Arroyo went 17-10 with a 3.88 earned run average in 215
2/3 innings for the NL Central champs this year. The Reds declined
options on pitcher Aaron Harang (huh-RANG') and shortstop Orlando
Cabrera, thus granting them free agency.

UNDATED (AP) - The New York Mets have picked up their $11
million option on shortstop Jose Reyes for 2011. Reyes hit .282
with 10 triples, 11 homers and 30 stolen bases in 133 games for the
Mets last season. And the Chicago Cubs say third baseman Aramis
(ah-RAH'-mihs) Ramirez has exercised his $14.6 million option and
will return to the team next season.
