KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) - Duke's Mike Krzyzewski (shuh-SHEF'-skee)
became just the fifth coach to win 800 games at one school when his
top-ranked Blue Devils dumped No. 4 Kansas State 82-68 in the final
of the O'Reilly Auto Parts CBE Classic in Kansas City. Coach K's
873rd victory overall pulls him within three of Adolph Rupp for
third place on the career list.

LOS ANGELES (AP) - The Los Angeles Lakers opened up a close game
with a 17-2 fourth-quarter run and beat visiting Chicago 98-91 for
their fifth straight win. The defending NBA champions are off to a
13-2 start.

UNDATED (AP) - League leader San Antonio brings a 12-1 record
and an 11-game winning streak into tonight's outing at Minnesota.
It's one of 11 games on the NBA's Thanksgiving Eve schedule.

GLENDALE, Ariz. (AP) - Phoenix leapfrogged Los Angeles for first
place in the NHL's Pacific Division with a 5-0 shutout of visiting
Edmonton in the only game on the league's Tuesday night schedule.
Martin Hanzal and Lee Stempniak (STEMP'-nee-ak) each scored twice
to help the Coyotes earn their seventh consecutive win.

UNDATED (AP) - Aubrey Huff is staying put with the San Francisco
Giants, agreeing to a $22 million, two-year contract with the World
Series champions. And, Victor Martinez is leaving Boston and
joining the Detroit Tigers, bringing another powerful bat to a
lineup that already includes MVP runner-up Miguel Cabrera.
