SAN FRANCISCO (AP) - A jury has convicted Barry Bonds of one
count of obstruction of justice but failed to reach a unanimous
verdict on three counts that he lied to a grand jury when he denied
knowingly using steroids and human growth hormone. U.S. District
Judge Susan Illston declared a mistrial on three unresolved counts,
leaving the prosecution to decide whether to seek a retrial. Bonds'
legal team immediately asked that the guilty verdict be thrown out,
but Illston did not rule on that request and set May 20 for a
hearing in the case.

Adams called a technical foul on him in Tuesday night's win over
San Antonio.
