MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - After meeting face-to-face for nine hours in
their first formal talks in more than a month, negotiators for the
NFL and its locked-out players are scheduled to meet again today at
the federal court house in Minneapolis. The talks are mediated by
U.S. Magistrate Judge Arthur Boylan.
SAN DIEGO (AP) - San Diego State says sophomore forward Kawhi
(KOW'-wee) Leonard plans to hire an agent and enter the NBA draft
and, according to his coach Steve Fisher, "is going to be an
exceptional NBA player." Leonard helped lead the Aztecs to their
best season ever, when SDSU finished 34-3 and reached the NCAA
round of 16 for the first time.
