UNDATED (AP) - Las Vegas oddsmakers have installed the Green Bay
Packers early two and a-half point favorites against the Pittsburgh
Steelers in Super Bowl 45 in two weeks. The Packers will be trying
for their fourth Super Bowl title while the Steelers are chasing a
record seventh Super Bowl ring.

PITTSBURGH (AP) - Rashard (rah-SHARD') Mendenhall ran 27 times
for 121 yards and a touchdown to send the Steelers to Super Bowl 45
with a 24-19 victory over the New York Jets. The Steelers opened a
24-0 second-quarter lead and then held off a furious Jets rally to
reach the Super Bowl for the third time in six seasons.

CHICAGO (AP) - The sixth-seeded Green Bay Packers are NFC
champions following their 21-14 win over Chicago that sends the
Pack to the Super Bowl for the first time in 13 seasons. The
Packers now have now won road games in Philadelphia, Atlanta and
Chicago.

DENVER (AP) - Carmelo Anthony scored 23 of his game-high 36 in
the third quarter of the Denver Nuggets' 121-107 win over Indiana
last night. Anthony canned a career-best six 3-pointers in the
third quarter as the Nuggets handed the Pacers their fifth straight
loss.

LA QUINTA, Calif. (AP) - Jhonattan (JAHN'-uh-thihn) Vegas made a
13-foot par putt on the second playoff hole to win the Bob Hope
Classic, holding off Gary Woodland for his first PGA Tour victory.
The Venezuelan rookie won in just his fifth PGA Tour start.
