KWBG Sports for May 11th

DETROIT (AP) - After losing the first three games of the series,
the Detroit Red Wings have rallied with three straight victories
against San Jose to force a seventh game Thursday night in San Jose
to decide who goes to the Western Conference final against
Vancouver. Henrik Zetterberg and Valtteri Filppula (val-TEHR'-ee
FIHL'-puh-lah) scored less than two minutes apart in the third
period to rally the Red Wings to a 3-1 win over the Sharks last
night.

CHICAGO (AP) - The Chicago Bulls are one win away from going to
the Eastern Conference finals for the first time since 1998, the
end of the Michael Jordan era. NBA MVP Derrick Rose had another
monster game - 33 points and nine assists - in the Bulls' 95-83 win
that gives them a 3-2 series win over the Hawks heading into
tomorrow's Game 6 in Atlanta.

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - After their marathon triple-overtime
133-123 win over Memphis on Monday night, the Oklahoma City Thunder
are back at it tonight against the Memphis Grizzlies. The Series is
tied 2-2 entering tonight's Game 5.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) - Michael Baze (bayz), a 24-year-old jockey
who rode this year's Kentucky Derby second-place finisher to his
only win back in February in Arkansas, has been found dead in his
vehicle parked in the stable area at Churchill Downs. Louisville
police spokeswoman Alicia Smiley says there were no signs of foul
play and the case was being treated as a death investigation.

MIAMI (AP) - The Florida Marlins beat NL East-leading
Philadelphia 2-1 in a matchup of pitching aces Josh Johnson and Roy
Halladay. Johnson allowed Ryan Howard's eighth homer in his seven
innings but wasn't involved in the decision and Halladay falls to
5-2 despite pitching a complete-game five-hitter in the loss.
