ATLANTA (AP) - The Chicago Bulls are back in the Eastern
Conference finals for the first time since the end of the Michael
Jordan era in 1998. The Bulls eliminated the Atlanta Hawks in six
games with a 93-73 rout last night that sends them into conference
final against Miami starting Sunday in Chicago where the Bulls went
41-6 in the regular season.

ATLANTA (AP) - The Chicago Bulls beat Miami all three
regular-season meetings, but the games were close and none decided
by more than four points. The Heat also will be well-rested for the
opener after eliminating Boston in five games, including the 97-87
clincher Wednesday night.

UNDATED (AP) - The NHL's final four is set - Tampa Bay at Boston
starting Saturday night and San Jose at Vancouver on Sunday night.
The Sharks recovered after losing three straight games to Detroit
by holding off the Red Wings 3-2 in Game 7 as Antti Niemi (AN'-tee
nee-YEH'-mee) made 38 saves in between the pipes for the Sharks.

PONTE VEDRA BEACH, Fla. (AP) - Nick Watney takes a one-shot lead
over Lucas Glover into today's second round of The Players
Championship, which will be without Tiger Woods for the rest of the
tourney. The former world No. 1 quit after shooting a 42 on the
front nine, complaining he was having trouble walking.

DENVER (AP) - Carlos Beltran hit a career-high three homers and
drove in six runs to help the New York Mets beat winless Ubaldo
Jimenez and the Colorado Rockies 9-5 in a Coors Field game delayed
more than two hours by rain. Beltran is the eighth Met to hit three
in a game, and first since Jose Reyes (RAY'-uhs) in 2006.
