CONCONRD, N.C. (AP) - Brad Keselowski will lead the pack to the
green flag for Sunday night's running of the NASCAR Coca-Cola 600.
Keselowski won the pole for the longest Sprint Cup race of the
season, finishing ahead of AJ Allmendinger who will join him on the
front row.

IRVING, Texas (AP) - Jeff Overton's bogey-free 6-under 64 has
him on top after the first round of the Byron Nelson Championship.
Overton has a one shot lead over Ryan Palmer and a two stroke
advantage over nine others including Dustin Johnson and Sergio
Garcia.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) - Japan's Kiyoshi Murota shot a 6-under 66
to take a one-shot lead over Trevor Dodds in the first round of the
Senior PGA Championship. Weather delays forced the round to be
suspended by darkness with 78 players still on the course.

CONCORD, N.C. (AP) - Kyle Busch apologized repeatedly Thursday
for showing a "lack of judgment" in driving 128 mph in a 45 mph
zone in a borrowed Lexus. Busch was cited for careless and reckless
driving, and speeding following a Tuesday stop.

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - Thousands of Twins fans joined former
teammates and family members to say a final farewell to Hall of
Fame slugger Harmon Killebrew. Among those in attendance were
Killebrew's wife Nita and Hall of Famers Hank Aaron, Rod Carew and
Bert Blyleven.
