up 3-0 against Philadelphia after their 5-1 win and in the Western

BOSTON (AP) - Bobby Abreu's (uh-BRAY'-ooz) bases-loaded single
in the top of the 13th inning drove in two runs to break a tie and
give the L.A. Angels a 5-3 win over the Boston Red Sox in a game
delayed two and a-half hours by rain at Fenway Park. Abreu's hit
came off Boston hurler Daisuke Matsuzaka (DYS'-kay
maht-soo-ZAH'-kah), who was making his first career relief
appearance.

Friday night when the Dodgers open a weekend series in New York
against the Mets.
CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) - South Africa's Rory Sabbatini could face
suspension from the PGA Tour for what is described as a
profanity-laced argument with Sean O'Hair during last week's Zurich
Classic in New Orleans. According to multiple players and
officials, it's the second time this year that Sabbatini has run
into trouble because of his behavior on the golf course.
